The Cape Fear Clean Water Classic Surf Festival is a gathering for surfers on the East Coast. It is also a forum for addressing water quality, equitable beach access, and other issues affecting the coastal environment. Share the Vibe as the Flotilla turns 25! The 5K course takes participants around the John Nesbitt Loop, including a quick jaunt down N. Channel Drive and back. The Turkey Trot is one of the largest Thanksgiving Day events around the country. It is one of the most fun ways To Begin Thanksgiving Day. The 2.4 Mile Turkey Trot around the Loop and our 1 Mile or 2.4 Mile Gobbler Family Fun Walk is designed to accommodate everyone. The biggest race in the NCTS, and the largest from Washington DC to Florida. This race starts out with a 1,500 meter swim, the bike course is one loop that takes participants over the Wrightsville Beach drawbridge and onto the mainland and the 5K run course is a one-loop design and also flat.
